I love helping couples feel comfortable and excited for their wedding dance, as they learn and build confidence in the basics of dance and partner connection. Enjoy the moment without overthinking it.
Our work together begins by exploring what you hope to get out of your wedding-dance experience. Some couples choose to approach their first dance as an opportunity to slow down and connect amidst a busy wedding day, while others want to put on a show. Would you prefer to learn simple Swing or Salsa choreography — or instead, how to improvise with a partner and relax into the moment, transcending any particular style of dance? This is your first dance, and there’s no one right way to approach it.
Preparing for a first dance can be a vulnerable experience for a couple. With a gentle and intuitive approach, I’m attuned to each individual’s emotional experience during our lessons, ensuring you’re having fun and connecting with one another throughout the process.

My husband Drew, a talented music editor, collaborates with me and my wedding dance students to create the perfect custom edit of their first-dance song –– by adjusting the length or tempo of a song, removing unwanted sections, splicing together multiple songs, adding voiceover or sound effects, or anything a couple envisions.
Let’s keep fine-tuning your song until it’s perfect for you. I work closely with Drew throughout the song-editing process to ensure that the final track realizes your first-dance vision, for an unforgettable wedding-dance experience.
